In this ad, I aimed to convey a sense of relaxation, highlighting how easy and stress-free the solar installation process can be.
For these ads promoting home batteries, I aimed to illustrate the passage of time during a blackout by featuring everyday items—typically used for light or cooking—arranged in the shape of a clock. As time progresses, it becomes clear that essential supplies will run out, perish, or spoil.
Looking for a fresh, playful way to show how solar can save money and resonate with younger homeowners, I came up with the idea and slogan "Solar makes you fat."
This October campaign tapped into people's fear of opening their electricity bills.
1. I wanted to take the concept of an ad blocker, something we all use online, and apply it to a full-page newspaper ad — blocking out all the other ads. 2. Print: Make solar simple maze. 3. Ice cream is a classic symbol of summer, so I used a shareable ice cream cone to represent solar energy — demonstrating how you can share solar power and get rewarded in return.
